Welcome back!

I hope that this letter finds you refreshed after spring break! I love seeing the weather grow nicer and the flowers start to bloom. It's so nice to see everyone after a long week! I'm looking forward to rounded out the year strong, and I hope you've been hearing about all the great things we've been learning in class! Math 7 is learning all about surface area and volume in a geometry unit. Math 8 is back at it with our second round of algebra units. Algebra is finishing up two-variable statistics and analyzing real-life data.

Please continue to check your student's planner and discuss what they are learning. Homework is still due each Friday, and I am still encouraging students to read over their notes, vocabulary and practice problems for 10-15 minutes each night because this will assist them in gaining a deeper knowledge of the math concepts we are learning. Launchpad tutoring after school starts next week, and I hope to see your student there! Please contact me whenever you need!
